The 1989 Porsche 944 Turbo is a die-cast recreation of Porsche’s front-engined sports car from the late 1980s. Powered by a turbocharged inline-four engine, the 944 Turbo delivered balanced performance and precision handling that made it a standout in Porsche’s lineup. A subtle yet heartfelt detail can be seen through the hatchback—a stethoscope, added by designer Ryu Asada as a tribute to his cancer doctor, who owned and drove a real 944.
